Landscape Nature Vs Urbane

You will go out into Crawley town and try to capture the built environment but to include elements of nature in every shot.

This is a typical example of Nature Vs Urbane, Nature being the grass & bush's around the park which is Urbane ie man made.

Photoshop Lesson 1

In todays lesson we learn't how to do basic edits on Adobe Photoshop, The tools i used were the Marquee Tool, Lasso Tool, The Text Box Tool & I played around with all of the different effects in the Filter drop down at the top of Photoshop.
Tools I Used

  • The Marquee tool highlights a box so u can copy & paste it onto another part of your image
  • The Lasso Tool creates a shape of your choice around a selection of the image so you can copy & paste it to another part of your picture
  • Text Box creates a text box on any part of your image you choose it to be so you can add your own text into it.
  • Other effects i used change the image, i.e negative, sharpen, paint & even neon effects.

I used the Marquee tool to copy the balcony at the top of the police station so there's three when originally there was only one.

I used the Lasso tool to copy the dark red car at the bottom of the image on the road & the car turning out of the road which you can see at the top of the station.

I used the Text box tool to add the text in the middle of the image.
